Yes, Dynamix is still ongoing for the time being, although we're running only Fridays, we're targetting what people want. Today's patch also opened up the COP areas for testing, so we'll be trying those out shortly, no doubt!

The first plan was to get a few people their Xarcabard access, fortunatly the Glacier's Angry Meiryu (eh) was not as bad as I was afraid of, so now we'll probably spend a week or two in it, depending at the rate most people got their fill of the goodies.

Then we'll probably take on the Dreamlands to see what changed. Of course little to no info from experience for the moment, but we're keeping our eyes open. Until then, we'll be polling on what people want as well to try to target specific zones. Although attempting the bosses to clear up the way to Tavnazia is not out of the question, you'll have to excuse us for any failures Smiley

See you then!

Well people, we had our first foray into the new Dynamis yesterday. Here's a few things of note :

-The entry for City and Northlands (not COP for now) is now requiring a key item that costs 50K. Just trade that money to one of the goblins that handle ancient currency (Davoi, Castle Oztroja, Beadeaux).
-You can enter once a day, reset at JP Midnight likely.
-Many groups and people can enter a zone at once, loot is now alliance based.
-Your time in the zone is individual, 1 hour starting from your entry. Key Items are given as Time extensions by certain mobs in a zone, up to 2 hours.
-The monsters inside the zone are not spawned through statues as before, many of them are already roaming the area, including NMs. There are a few statues too, likely Time Extensions.
-Pets (Wyverns and Avatars as well) disapear when the master dies now. Monsters also don't reset, they simply vanish on death as in most zones.
-Monsters respawn after a few minutes. Statues seem to have a much faster respawn rate, as one was returning every minute or so on one of our camps.
-Drops rates for Relic seem vastly unchanged, but currency drops seem to have been drastically cut down (got 5 coins for 45m of killing or so). 100 coins seem to come from NMs.
-Pop items drop from mobs as well, we haven't figured out how and where to use them, and what NMs would appear from them yet though.

In the lights of those changes, the way Dynamix used to run things is very archaic. We already took away the point system, now we have to handle what's left of the bank. Leaders will be concerting on that subject, since the bank is everyone's property, not just of an individual. We also need to talk about how we'll handle 100 pieces among others, since runs won't be tied to the sale of them to pay for the glass.

For now though, the first decision was taken as to use the Bank money to pay for active member's Key item. See a Leader (likely me Tongue ) for getting refunded your 50k. We'll consider members as active if you came to runs in the past month or so.

The rest of the bank might be kept aside for either buying some currency for our sponsored upgrader, or keeping some for occasional COP runs until they are switched over to the new system (possibly in August from the looks of it).

Also, we are likely to do a round robin of all cities as we get used to the new system, getting the clear (if we figure out how to get it) for some of the newer members that showed up by the end, and moving on to check on Northlands. Yesterday's run in Jeuno was a good example about how a lack of information will lead to a run's downfall pretty quickly, and there was no information on the zones at the time. Hopefully should know more by next week at least.

Alright, so we're back in business, but attendance has been pretty low.

With the recent announcements of changes to Dynamis in the next month's update, I understand that we're all expecting things to be vastly different when it gets there. For the moment, we are still trying to hold runs. There's still gil on the bank we are trying to bleed out a bit more, and leaders will decide on what to do if there's anything left at the patch.

But for now, we need to decide what to do with our runs. We are playing it by ear with the numbers we have, picking runs depending on what people would like. Which is why we had Dreamlands and a Xarc run recently.

What we need to know is what still need in drops, so we can pick zones, when numbers and job spread allow. If you have any comments or wants, let us know here. We still are and always have been open to suggestions.

Cya soon~

As those that are attending to runs have noticed, we are going by attendance to determine what zone we'll do, but we're also taking in suggestions and requests.

Without suggestions, we're handling it as we think is best and not a waste of time or effort. We are not scared of losing EXP, Abyssea made sure that we'd never run out of that, but multiple deaths and wipes will disrupt the run entirely time-wise.

For that reason we've been playing it more or less safe, with attendance of 8-10 people, by doing city runs. We managed to do another round trip of all cities recently, great work on that, especially Windurst.

Relic gear has become less and less in demand with Abyssea gear, but also the fact that the drop rate has exponentially blown up for them. We used to think that 10 relics was a great run. Now every run has 30+ relics.

What I'd like to know is what do people still need or want. Clarrissa needs more Whiteshells, meaning more Windurst runs, which is fine with me although we do need careful balance of mages in that zone, more than any other. I personally would like to get some COP runs in to try to profit off the drop rates to get a bunch of accessories, but we also need good attendance for the most part there (except maybe Bubu).

So I suppose it wouldn't hurt to poke around for people still wanting things from Dynamis as well, so they might join the shell for the last leg. It would help with the zone selection at least, and we'll try to hit up some Northlands again with just a few more members possibly. If you know anyone that would like to fill upa  porter moogle to brim with random relics noone else wants, ask them to join!

Cya at next run~
